The premise of the service is simple- users generate a tiny personal playlist of 50 songs, & pin it to their account. Friends that are also subscribers to BBM Music can access this playlist & stream your playlist to their tool. Additionally, users can swap around 25 songs each month, keeping the playlist fresh & relevant. Fundamentally, the more friends you have, the more music you can listen to!
Mike Lazaridis spoke regards the experience of the new BBM service :"We have partnered with leading music companies to provide a 'full track' music sharing & discovery experience that will provide users with quality music on demand & permit them to connect with friends on a whole new level."
