Verizon Wireless new iPad to reach stores on March 29, 2012

Apple loyalists will have an opportunity to lay hands on the Verizon Wireless new iPad in a range of data plans soon enough. The carrier is selling all versions of the new Cupertino-based slate inclusive of Wi-Fi + 4G.
With this offer, users get to access the 4G LTE network from the carrier, which should naturally mean faster operational speeds. Notably, Verizon is also supporting the Personal Hotspot attribute of the latest iPad that will enable owners to share their network connection with 5 other compatible devices by means of Bluetooth, USB or Wi-Fi.

“Customers have been enthusiastic over the iPad on our 3G network and we expect even more excitement for the new iPad with Wi-Fi + 4G on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. With more and more customers depending on their iPad for business, as well as personal use, it is important that they have a network that delivers high speed and reliability, nationwide,” commented Tami Erwin, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless.
In terms of the principal specs of the device, it embeds a 5MP iSight camera that supports up to 1080p video recording capability. Attractively thin and lightweight, the slab offers approximately 10 hours of battery life. The company’s new quad-core A5X chip has been incorporated into the chassis for powering all the functions and the integrated 9.7-inch display is of the Retina type.
The Verizon Wireless new iPad price and availability details have been out in the open for more than a week now. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB choices are tagged at $629 (approx. Rs. 31,500), $729 (approx. Rs. 36,500) and $829 (approx. Rs. 41,500), correspondingly. It will be available at the carrier’s retail outlets and online from March 16 onwards.
